Activity details: 

The training and coaching activity can be tailored to suit individual company needs.These tools could be any of but not limited to the following:

•      Basic principles of lean management 

•      Hoshin Kanri and policy deployment (setting business vision and mission)

•      Value Stream Mapping (identifying capability and capacity)

•      Standard work (for processes, operators and leaders)

•      Visual management (creating lagging and leading Key Performance Indicators)

•      Problem identifying and solving, (Practical Problem Solving)

•      Waste identification and reduction tools (OEE, SMED, TQM, TPS, 5S, etc.)

•      Theory of constraints (TOC)

•      TWI training (Job Instruction, Job Methods, Job Relations)

•      Pull systems (Kanban, Supermarkets, FIFO, etc.)

•      Kaizen (People involvement)

•      Management Development (auditing, process confirmation, situational management)

Outcome:

After completion of the training and coaching mentioned above the recipient will have a detailed working knowledge of the activity. They will be able to do and teach.
